Metro Pool League Rules

These rules are in addition
to Valley Pool Rules.
Start Time:
·
League starts at 7:00 PM realtime.
·
Forfeits, 7:10 the first game will be
forfeited,
7:20
the second game will be forfeited.
7:30
the match will be forfeited.
·
If you can not be on time call the other
team to avoid forfeits.
Fees:
·
League Fees:
$5.00
per person per night, plus $1.50 per person per night for quarters.
Summer 4 person; $5.00 per person per night, plus $2.00 per person per night
for quarters.
Sunday 3 person; $5.00 per person per night, plus $1.50 per person per night
for quarters.
- Sanction
Fees: Sanction year runs from May to May.
V.N.E.A.
– Yearly $7.00 per person
I.S.P.A.
– Yearly $6.00 per person
Score sheets and Handicap:
- Fill
out score sheet completely, Division, Team names, Date & Full Player Names.
- Names
can be placed in any order, it does not have to be from lowest to highest
Handicap. .
- Follow
play order of score sheet.
- Handicaps
must come from the most recent Standings Sheet. For any reason someone doesn’t
have a handicap,
they will use an 0 handicap, and the player with the
highest handicap on the opposing team thier handicap will be scratched.
Players with no handicap will remain a 0 handicap
until they play 2 weeks.
- Handicap
per round is the difference between the 2 teams totals. The team with the
lower handicap total receives the difference.
- Winter
Max handicap, 15 per round. Summer Max handicap, 12 per round.
- If
the score is tied at the end of the match the team with the most game wins,
will win the round.
- 1st 2 weeks of league, last years handicaps are to be used,
If there is a BYE in your division the 1st 3 weeks.
After that handicaps from the Standing sheets ONLY, no one after 2 or 3 weeks
will use last years handicaps.
Subs:
- Subs
must pay sanction fees the first night they play. Put full name and mailing
address on the back of the score sheet.
- Once
a sub starts the match they must finish the match.
- Underage
subs are allowed ONLY if the opposing bar owner agrees to let them into their
establishment.
- No
Level A or AA can sub for a Metro C or D division team.
Additional rules:
- Intentionally
pocketing the 8 ball or losing a game on purpose to pad handicap is not allowed.
- Eight
on the Break, Shooter has option unless they scratch of either,
1. Rerack
2. Spot the eight.
- All players must be
21.
- Protests on matches
can be filed if the problem can not be worked out at league. Follow rule listed.
1. Protest must be called in within
24 hours to league Coordinator, Todd 240-8557.
2. Written protest must
be submitted within 48 hours, fax 234-4698 or email
fischelsmusic@fischelsmusic.com
- Protests will be decided
on by League Coordinator.
